• Voice Support in Sharing
• Sharing now has Remote and Local Modes
• Remote Mode:
• For users who are in different physical locations.
• Users will be able to hear all users in the room, whether they are in remote or local mode.
• Local Mode:
• For users who are in the same physical location.
• Users won’t be able to hear each other (through the app), but they’ll be able to hear everyone who’s in Remote Mode
• A Microphone icon button in the Sharing page can be used to enable/disable the microphone.
• New Avatar Visuals
• Remote avatars will display a head to represent their position in the room.
• Avatar rays will only be shown when user input is active and focused on the body. E.g. for HoloLens2, rays will only be shown for a user, if their hand is in view and pointing at the body.
• Avatar rays will be hidden for users who are using near interaction.
• The avatar visuals (head and name) will fade out when they’re in proximity to the user.
• Cursor Improvements
• The cursor will remain at the last hit distance to prevent it from going through the body when trying to focus on a specific part.
• UX Improvements
• The body scale will persist even when switching to a different region or structure.
• No longer disabling user input during region transitions or expand animations.
• Bug Fixes
• Fixed bugs related to scale and region changes during Sharing.
• Fixing pin move button for Magic Leap.
• Lots of other improvements.
